we have booked to go in feb 2015 and the MIL asked if she could come and spend some time with us, so the plan was she was going to go to clearwater for a week, we were going to go over sat/sun and have a few days at the beach ( this would also get us out of the parks during PD weekend). i mentioned to her to have a look at AMI as a lot of peopel have recommended them on here, she then said she was looking at staying at barefoot resort at indian shores, the following week it was teasure island, now she has just phoned to say shed booked St pete's ! . :angry:It's not really mentioned much here on the dibb ( or i can't find it and doesn't come up with much when i google it ) has anyone been and can reassure me.

I have be going to st pete beach now for years. We love it! It's the best beach ever. We always stay in the Dolphin Beach Resort and have a deluxe room which literally opens up on the beach. It's quiet and relaxing but has plenty of restaurants as well. You will love it!

St Pete beach is chilled and a fab beach community,lovely sunsets, hotels and food. You'll be fine there.

I prefer St Petes to AMI and infact any other beach there. It is beautiful and you will all love it!

Next to St Petes Beach is Pass e grill, lovely beach and more like old Florida.

Head south thru St Petes Beach and straight on the Pink Palace Hotel which dominates the skyline in this area and you will enter Pass E Grill.

St Pete Beach is only 3 miles long and Pass a Grille is an extra mile at the southern end.

I'm guessing you're talking about Barefoot Beach? We've stayed there a few times.

We love Indian Shores too although we now prefer some of the other condos.

We've got 2 trips to Indian shores this year, yippee

St Pete beach is lovely we stayed at the Alden resort right on the beach, also love going to johns pass boardwalk and Pass-a Grille - hurricane bar-watch the sun go down- heaven!
