Thanks all for your very helpful replies, I shall be checking out if they have websites, good to know they are quite spacious, where I live is a shopping mall called meadowhall. . . Or meadowhell as I call it, it's crowded at the best of tines so doesn't make for a fun shopping trip and I want our holiday to be full of fun. Thanks again x

Mall at Millenia is a big mall but is very, very quiet and so might suit your son - loads of big atrium areas, waterfalls etc
Also has a Cheescake Factory and PF Changs 👍👍👍 |

We got to Florida mall on a Sunday as it opened at 11am and it was pretty empty. Check out the stickie mall directory and see what shops are where and head to them. We love the loop but there is little for teenagers to shop for clothes. Both outlets on I drive would be better and are outside. Mall of millenia is more upmarket and small, but inside. Still not a busy place generally.

All the malls and outlets have floor plans and lists of stores. Would it help your younger DD if you planned your "route" around the malls before you get there ?
PS steer clear of Sat afternoon and evenings, Florida Mall seems to become a meeting place for local teens ! Edited at 09:31 AM. |

Try Winter Gardens - a very large open area shopping mall or for a more UK/European experience try Park Avenue in Winter Parks (these are two totally different areas).

We "discovered" Winter Garden for the first time last November. Very wide open and widespread shopping area with nice landscaping.
All the usual shops and very handy for us picking up the 429 at Rolling Oaks. Will definitely visit again in November. Mick

Try the loop. It's off John young parkway. All outside and has jc Penney, babies r us, bed bath & beyond, Ross, tj maxx, kohls and a few restaurants. Not really overcrowded as I don't think loads of people know about it. Seem to get better bargains too!
I bought my 2yo a baby alive walking doll last year from tj maxx for $34 and would have cost £65 over here! |
