xbox 360 games

Hi
Does anyone know whether xbox 360 games are available in Florida if so are they cheaper than here? Will they work here?

Also - if we bought dvd's in Florida will they work here too? I wasn't sure about this - I know in the olden days videos wouldn't work here if bought there...

Thank you!

Julie

Most won't work as they're region 1 NTSC. They're about $60 plus tax

Some do, some don't , which isn't very helpful i know.

Best bet is to do some research online to see if you can find out which ones work, or go somewhere like Gamestop rather than Walmart and hopefully they can help.

With regard to the DVD's working or not

Nothing has changed.

It depends on whether your dvd can play all region discs or not.
My player which i got from amazon about 1998 plays all discs from around the world straight out of the box.
My daughters dvd player which we got from morrisons(or safeways) needed a settings change in a "hidden" menu to enable it to be multi region.
Check online and see if your dvd player setting can be changed.
None of the consoles can be changed!

To be honest my son was looking at games last year in Best Buy and by the time you add the 6% sales they worked out about the same price as in ASDA over here.
As far as DVD's working, most DVD players are now region free unless its a very early model.
Hope this helps.

Xbox 360 games will also be much cheaper than $60+Tax, thats the typical price for Xbox One games.

And xbox 360 titles. Brand new games are $60. Example titanfall walmart $59.95 plus tax.
