First timers! What to look for?

Hi there, so me and the girlfriend travel to florida for the first time in June,

We have heard the prices out there for shopping are a lot cheaper than at home!, so what sort of items and prices are we looking at?

For example im big into my trainers, clothes, golf equipment/ sports equipment and gaming/gadgets. Whilst the girlfriend loves handbags, makeup etc etc

Thanks for any help/tips its appreciated

Hello!
Hollister is usually like for like dollars to the pound, so a shirt costing £50 will cost $50 dollars instead! (Plus tax on top) Make up such as mac is cheaper too, plus they have the lovely sephora make up shop. Most gadgets, iPads etc will make you a decent saving too! Hope that helps as a start. Oh we also got amazing discounts at north face in the premium outlets and uggs too!

NorthFace shop is definitely worth a look, we spent lots and lots in there! Make up and shoes for mew and Ralph Lauren Polo clothes for husband, he loves their stuff, so cheap. The kids store is good too if you have little ones to buy for! Enjoy it! X

Tommy Hilfiger outlet is loads cheaper than here. Check out Ross's, TK Maxx, Beales that stock lots of cheap designer clothes

Trainers , jeans, t shirts all get purchased. Jewellery is my DW thing we got an eternity ring for £150 and got it valued over here at £275 ! But the best is the golf stuff , footjoy shoes for £40 , shirts etc all so much cheaper than over here, I am getting a new driver next year as well as anything else golf related she will let me get
Plenty of places in the outlet malls that do golf but also plenty of specialist shops , you'll be in golf heaven
I drop everyone at the mall and go and have a quick round as the courses are great early is better though as the heat gets you later on

Most stuff is cheaper over there, your best bet is to visit one/all of the malls/outlets and have a wonder!

Hmm there's so much to look for, it depends what your really looking for but the outlets are a must and Florida mall, I love a good shop when I'm in Florida, my boyfriend loves to stock up on holister bits as it's cheaper, nike outlet is good for sports wear etc and Ralph Lauren always seem to have offers when I've been out there, ulta/ sephora is a must for your girlfriend it has everything make up and beauty I can spend hours in there ha ha Michael Kors and coach are popular for bags out there, also Macys offer 10% discount to international customers, i saved loads on my michael kors bag last year! Hope you have a lovely trip!
