Thanks everyone for reading! I know I promised an update but I've been running around like a mad woman trying to get organised for wedding and honeymoon!

5 days to go arrrghhhh!

Had final dress fitting and brought my dress home today, I love love love it!

My chief bridesmaid also went into labour and had her baby 3 days ago so not sure if she'll make it or not :O

Had a big hair and make up drama because the artist I had paid did an awful job at my trial so I'm now doing it all myself!

But hopefully everything will go smoothly on the day

Right so I've decided to take some time to chill and watch orange is the new black so Thought I'd do a wee update while I'm watching.

First off, as i said previously, I had my hair and make up trial 2 weeks ago, and it was a disaster. I genuinely felt I could do a better job of my own make up, and the hair style was just limp and horrible and actually looked like it had been curled the night before and then slept on. When the girl left I just cried for about an hour and decided I would be doing my own. Still very disappointed about it as I was looking forward to sitting back with a glass of fizz and being pampered and made to look amazing. Oh well! The money I've saved I ended up spending the same (and more!) on some really nice make up to use on the day.

I've done a few DIY trials and finally found a look I'm most happy with -



I had my hen do back in may - it was so amazing - we did a crafty afternoon tea where we all printed on bags, it was so fun and really easy to do. They gave us stencils but I decided to draw my own design suited to the occasion we then went on to have dinner and cocktails and a private party room with games and karaoke. My 2 best friends really planned the most perfect day for me!









Loved it!

We smashed our wedding teramundi and changed it into dollars - almost Ł900 in the one at my in law to be's house. Ours was less successful at about Ł200.

My house has turned into a bit of a wedding factory at the moment - not wishing my wedding away but can't wait to not be living in a bomb site...

My mum brought this back from Spain for our cake and candy table -



These are my sweetie jars - still to add brown luggage tag labels with pink ribbons. Also filled up the ones that look half empty! Also excuse my horrible kitchen - can't wait to rip that out!


My bridesmaid who had the baby was due to be making cupcakes but I'm not sure she'll have time now! My mum is taking on that duty and decorating with little hearts like these, only they say R&J on them.



My DIY bridesmaid flowers - fake peonies, each one cost approx Ł6, what a saving on real flowers. (My bouquet cost Ł80! )




My umbrella (which hopefully I won't need to use! )




One of the lovely mums at work bought use these amazing soft toys - I was actually screaming round the nursery when I opened this. So beautiful and so thoughtful!


She also bought us this gorgeous finger print tree -



And I think that's about it! The next photos you will see will likely be pictures of the actual day - eeeek!

It all looks so lovely, you must be so busy getting it all ready . Eek about the early baby arrival, keen to be a guest! Love the peony bouquets, they are so elegant. Shame about your make up trial, love your pic, you look beautiful.
