Quiet Lounge at Gatwick
Can anyone recommend a nice quiet Airport Lounge in Gatwick, for three adults. My son is autistic and finds the main airport too loud and busy, not going to September 2021, but I thought I would start finding out information.

Which terminal ?
If flying from the south MyLounge has a small outside terrace too otherwise all offer more sanity than the main terminal. Edited at 11:13 PM. |

We've booked the Clubrooms, South Terminal, no under 12's. My kids are teens and will quite happily sit there with their headphones in and relax.

We were in My Lounge last week. The lounge itself really wasn’t great but by the time we left there were only 5 of us in it. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was.

The No 1 lounge in Gatwick North had an over 12 only "library" section. That looked quiet to me but we didn't go in that section as we were with kids so can't comment just how quiet it was.

Hi Margaret,
We have used the No 1 Clubrooms lounge at LGW since Virgin moved to the N Terminal and can thoroughly recommend it as a quiet haven pre-flight. It is usually the most expensive of all the non-airline lounges, but I have found if you keep an eye out for special offers you can always get quite good savings on the regular charges. There are no runway views but it is very comfortable and the service is excellent. Best wishes, John |

If you are flying from the North Terminal have you looked at the special assistance lounge? I couldn't find the exact info but remembered that this was opening last year when I travelled threw. This might be a good idea for you if you wanted something a bit quieter. Otherwise No 1 lounge is a good shout although it can be a bit busy
