We have a 5 day mini break booked to Gdańsk in early March just wondering if any of you Dibbers have been & if there were any little nuggets of information you’d like to share please.

We have just done a 3 day trip to Gdańsk. Absolutely beautiful place. I think 5 days will be much better as we felt we could have done with an extra day or two. Take the train to Sopot for the day gorgeous beach, if you walk to the end of the boardwalk there’s a lovely cafe/restaurant to have food or drinks. Also do the pirate boat in Gdańsk we didn’t have time for it but friends said it was amazing. Xx

Do come back with your suggestions after your trip, we have a long weekend booked in June. We love Poland!

Gdansk is lovely. We went to sopot and gdynia on the train, it was really easy and cheap we preferred sopot. It had a market with some quirky stalls. We also took the bus out to stuthoff concentration camp, well worth a visit but obviously heartbreaking.
I am sure you'll have a great time x

Went twice last year!
Uber is very cheap.
Visit park oliwski as it is beautiful.
Sopot is my fave beach ever and beautiful little market and high street there. Visit the crazy house in sopot centre for a good pic opportunity.

Visit time out restaurant in gdansk. They often do a deal where u buy one breakfast and get another for 1zl! Even if the offer isnt on the food and drinks are beautiful...especially the breakfasts.

World war 2 museum was fantastic and worth a quick uber or long walk even just to see the iconic building.

Hope that helps xx
