Glasgow lounge
For those that have been in the upper deck lounge, is it worth it? What exactly do you get?

DH isn't a fan, but only because they don't have Jack Daniels .
We caught the tail end of breakfast & it looked like they had porridge, cereals & bacon rolls. The lunch stuff was soup & sandwiches (they might have had a curry too I honestly can't remember). They also had crisps, biscuits & cheese, tablet & macaroon. Hot drinks & juice were self service & alcohol (and irn bru) was at the bar. They say it's limited to 4 per person, but I don't think they enforce it. It was quite busy when we went, still had plenty of seats but the staff weren't the fastest at clearing tables. I'm not sure if anything has changed since the Lomond Lounge opened. My Mum is booked in next Saturday so I'll see if she has anything different then. |
