Dubai brunch
Planning on a Friday brunch in Dubai but we will have children with us, any recommendations for something with entertainment for them. At the moment considering Bubbalicious, bread street kitchen, Mina a Salam or Al Qasr but open to other suggestions

Hi, hopefully Collette will be along soon, but I would based on what I knew from a few years ago, go for Bubbalicious. It’s better for kids. Al Qasr used to be great but I wasn’t impressed with that anymore or the Mina the last time I went

We’ll have a 12 year old with us when we go this May and we’re considering Bread Street Kitchen but open to other suggestions.

Done loads of brunches over the years - never really had a bad one. Bubbalicious remains my favourite.

As for Mina Salam and Al Qasr, is depends when you are going. The Easter and Halloween brunches there are excellent. Weekly ones are good too but pretty standard. If you do decide on a Jumeirah one then download the IsmebyJumeirah app as lots of brunches are 2 for 1 on there. I used the app offer for brunch at Summersalt beach club at Al Naseem (which I loved but not very family orientated)

Thanks, I’d seen your advice on one of the other threads and have downloaded the app. We’re going in March so no special brunches are on, part of the reason for looking at the Jumeirah ones is we‘ve got half board so would only have to pay the supplement, we’ve stayed at the Mina before so know the area well but the bubbalicious one sounds fun

Just check the costings using your HB supplement, it may be cheaper to get 2 for 1. When did you last go? The HB scheme changed about 2/3 years ago and you no longer get paper vouchers that you can roll, over. The credit is now added to your room and you need to use it each day or you lose it, you can’t carry them over any more
Have a lovely time x |

It’s been a couple of years since we stayed in a Jumeirah hotel, I’d read the scheme had changed which is a shame as the vouchers suited us if we went out for the day we used them for a lunch. I think a 2 for 1 would be better value than the HB but I haven’t seen the main ones on the app yet and I don’t think they’re in the entertainer either

We went to the Burj one when we stayed there it was great, the Al Qasr one, was really spectacular. However I believe there is one that beats them all I don't know if its the Fairmont or something like that. Its been a while since we went to Dubai regularly.
Hope you enjoy whatever you choose. x
