Mobile Charlotte, NC to Orlando - where to stay for one night?

Hi

After visiting family in Charlotte, we’re driving to Orlando. We’ve done this journey a couple of times before and stayed in Savannah and Charleston. This time we’d like to try somewhere different but all roads seem to lead to these main areas. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Jekyll or Tybee Islands ? We loved both of these on our last trip
St Augustine or Palm Coast ( maybe too far down for one days drive)

We’ve been to Savannah before and enjoy it there but was after somewhere different this time. It’s a good place to stop though so it’s our first choice if nothing new comes along.
