We could leave our suitcases on the minibus, and just took our hand luggage in and used the lockers for those. I took flip flops and my costume in my hand luggage and bought a package which included a towel, robe, a drink and 2 masks. One thing I would say is definitely prebook the Blue Lagoon well in advance as the timed slots book up before the day. The transport and standard admission package (entrance and mask) then was @ £89.00. I think Greyline do a similar trip to and from the airport.

I've looked this up ! thank you what a great idea we arrive early about 9:00 and cant get into our accommodation until 3pm so this will be perfect ! Did you definitely feel a 2 hour stop was enough?

Iceland is a brilliant place to visit.
Was this the duty free in the UK?

A guide and prices for what's available at the duty free shop in Iceland is HERE.

I was pleasantly surprised to see cans of beer alongside the usual wines and spirits as I had heard that beer is only available in off licences there and they have limited opening hours.

Another good site for all things Iceland is HERE. Sorry the link takes you to a what to buy at the airport but there are plenty of other interesting pages to help plan.
