I got water in my oil once, it was expensive to fix. The water wasn't as deep as the picture, but I had to get the kids, I didn't know until I got there that it would be flooded. I needed to pick up my kids, I didn't have a plan b, the alternative route was about 45 minutes.
I've since changed my car to one more appropriate to rural life.

Strange weather here in East Kent today. Very windy early on, heavy rain, brief sleet shower and then the sun came out and it was quite warm.

Similar here today though the temp has seriously dropped this evening and the winds picked up again.

Same in southwest. Took dog for walk in bright sunshine, halfway home sheltering from hail/rain, dog not impressed!
