Ddp 2017

So I am trying to work out whether the ddp would be a good idea for my trip next year but the list of restaurants available for counter and table service seems much more restricted at Epcot and Disney Springs than last year. I read somewhere that this is because a lot of restaurants in these areas are non Disney owned and therefore takes longer to finalise the ddp details. Does anyone know if this correct?

I remember when I was looking for our 2014 trip, not all of the restaurants appeared straight away. There was a lot more closer to the time.

Yes, this happens every year and next year's plan won't be finalised until late 2016. Just use this years list as a guide as it rarely changes. If anything, more places get added

That's great thank you. I was worried in case I booked and half the places I want to eat aren't then included.

You do, of course mean late 2016!

Thanks for clarifying that! I was just sitting down to have a look at menus and downloaded the DDP for 2017 and there is only one table service restaurant shown for Disney Springs - but at the top of the page it says 'Be our Guest at over 50 table service restaurants' and then only 30 or so are listed... i was getting very confused!

Yeah I almost ruled out the ddp because of this! Glad to hear that more will be added
