Paying OOP for 10 year old
We have dining plan next year and my eldest is just turned 10 so will be a disney adult. He is also a very fussy eater and does not have a big appetite . Would it be OK to order him a child's meal occasionally and is it acceptable to ask to pay for them OOP so we can save some extra credits for signature meals. I really fancy Artists point for example but there is nothing on the adult menu he will like but 3 dishes on the kids menu which are obviously much cheaper.

I'm pretty sure that is absolutely fine. They are your credits and you can spend them how you wish. Others have asked similar, but I'm sure one of the dining plan experts will be along soon to confirm.

Yes it's fine to do that. The only places you won't be able to is buffets.
