Disney ultimates and dining plan

Hello everyone. I'm hoping you can help me with a silly last minute question! We have 14 day ultimate tickets with dining plan and since they are valid for 14 consecutive days from first use, we had planned not to do parks on arrival day so that we can have breakfast in MK on our last morning. But I'm wondering now whether using our dining plan credits on arrival day would activate the tickets since they are linked? If anyone could answer this, it would be a big help!

No. DDP and tickets are separate. You may also find that despite tickets being for 14 days they are useable for 15. We have had 22 days use from 21 day tickets.

Ultimate tickets work on check-in day and departure day.

As long as you only do 14 park days over 15 days. Food and tickets are separate use the ddp from when you check in then activate your tickets when you want - tickets start when you go to a park
