I'm a sen ta with a 13yr old dd. I've always known she has autism but before the normal teenage social and emotional challenges hit we managed it really well. Now I'm ashamed to say without access to support we are heading for crisis , completely my fault I know but she used to thrive, with the support of myself and our wonderful primary school. I feel for you. Feeling overwhelmed is exhausting.

I have no experience but if she wants to feel close to you perhaps you could pick 2 outfits from your wardrobe and have her choose which one you wear that day and she could pick 2 from her wardrobe and you choose what she wears. At least you would have a 50% chance of being right.
