Which do you prefer? Extra Morning Hours or Extra Evening Hours?

We are staying onsite towards the end of our holiday when we would have already been in Orlando for a week.

Trying to plan our park days and am thinking the extra evening hours would be better for us.

Which do you prefer and why?

I find morning EMH better as it’s quieter than evening ones. So slight personal preference for morning 👍

Morning ones best for rides and evening ones best for fun and atmosphere 🙂 Apart from MK which has so many rides that absorb the crowds, you can have best of both.

We prefer evening as we’re rubbish at getting up early enough, even at the start of the holiday but do try and get up early a couple of times.

Now though there’s only eemh at mk and Epcot as they’ve scrapped the HS and AK ones.

We did do 2 early mornings last time once at AK which was great as everyone headed to pandora while we did all the other rides. The other time we did HS and it was packed.

Spot on actually! Night time in the parks is something else, very atmospheric

Love the extra evening hours in magic kingdom specifically, as everyone is saying the atmosphere is spot on!

Mornings for me as I like to chill out in the resort pool in the evenings before going to bed.

For me it depends on how early morning EMH is and how late evening EMH is!

Basically my favourite is extremely late EMH (10pm or later; I once did a 1-3am one though not sure if these still happen), since the parks are empty at this time. Next favourite is early morning EMH. Least favourite is early evening EMH around say 8-10pm, as the parks still stay crowded during this time...

Early morning hours are more effective for park touring, so getting the rides you want in early. Evening hours I find are too packed and I don't enjoy it.

Unless you are in the queue approx. an hour before early morning hours, it is not as effective as too many people flood in to the park and the headline rides are busy.

I now try and avoid all EMH even though I stay on site, especially since the fastpass plus system as it can have the opposite effect and make parks really busy. However, we have used early mornings really effectively in the past, managing to ride all the headliners in the first hour then relax a bit after that, however, it did involve a lot of rushing and fast walking, not sure I'm up for that anymore
