MNSSHP... how busy?

We went a few nights ago on the 17th, found it to be very busy and not the best experience. Have been to many parties over the years and they seem to get more and more busy each year - people going crazy over free packs of skittles!

This will be the last Halloween Party we go to, it used to be so much more enjoyable.

On the plus side, last night we went to the Magic Kingdom After Hours event and it was fantastic! Will be doing that one again - is a little bit more expensive, but with our Annual Passes it gives us $30 off each ticket.

You can use DAS during the party for characters or rides with long wait times.

You speak to one of the CMs in the queue and they will arrange for the attraction supervisor to write you out a return time.
If the CM is hesitant you should ask to speak with the supervisor. We saw 7 dwarves this way as there’s no way we could queue.

In fact, this is now the case for all character meets with lengthy waits that don’t have fast pass.

The party last Tuesday was in fact sold out hence why it was so busy. It was the final night of price discounts apparently.

If you’ve bought your tickets from Disney they will refund you up to about 48 hours before

We had a fantastic night at MNSSHP on 2nd September, everything was practically walk on except mine train,we got in early at 2pm as dvc and stayed till midnight!,only slight disappointment was the fireworks were off due to weather which is understandable. However this was just before Dorian was due to hit so obviously skewed the crowds.Hope you have a great time if you go
