Company’s with good customer services

I like to book a package and could someone tell me any companies they feel other good customer services, we have many health issues and are often on the phone,... I also heard once there was problems with over booking and some companies were much better than others helping customers., part of my holiday is finding a company that is just not interested in taking your money, but is also there when you have a problem or if there is a problem with Hotel etc. Thanks for any help... ,

My magic holiday without a doubt - they are Disney specialists, so they know what they are talking about and go above and beyond to help you. They are actually members of the DIBB and have a good reputation on here.

Try Orlando Attractions too. I'd happily book with them (and have done), as well as My Magic Holidays

Thanks so much for the quick replies, is booking with either these companies rather than WDW direct does it make any difference ...

I would also recommend My Magic Holiday. You get all the benefits that you would get booking direct but they are a small company who specialises in Disney holidays and so your consultant can really get to know you.

I have done DIY and package holidays. DIY is great if the funds are available up front, but if you don’t have funds available and want to pay off a bit of a time, then a package is the way to go. If I had funds myself up front, I would book DIY directly with airline and Disney.

people made find it strange but Thomson/TUI have have my vote.
I have traveled with them worldwide over many years and when things have gone wrong they have been very quick to resolve the issue. I know other people have had issues but from my own exsperiance they have refunded me on late flights (2 occasions) looked after us during hurracan irma and dealt with a couple of hotel issues that i had all in the last 7 years.

Yes I'd find it strange. TUI were one of the companies last year who kept customers waiting weeks to find out what their new hotel would be when the AK pool closure was announced , by contrast My Magic had rung me, given me a choice of three hotels to choose from (at no extra cost ) within hours (and whilst the Dibb was still full of posts from people who had booked direct with Disney still trying to get through). My Magic also charged me less for the same as booking direct with Disney.

Can’t really offer positive recommendations, but I’ve used Tui once and did worry what might happen if there was a problem (there wasn’t as it happened) and I’ve just booked with VH solely because of their good price and I have to say the advisor I spoke to was very helpful, I’m going to buck the trend on My Magic Holidays, I wasn’t impressed either with the price or their refusal to email me a quote, which is apparently their company policy because prices can change, I totally understand that, imo you just need a disclaimer on said email x

As someone who suddenly found themselves in hospital for 3 months on a ventilator last summer and my husband having to cancel holidays these are our observations:

TUI - wouldnt speak to my husband as I was lead passenger, despite being told I was on a ventilator and my surgeon trying to speak with them. Put us down as "no shows" on our July holiday, we should also have holidayed in the Sept with them and I was still in hospital... again wouldnt speak to anyone other than me (even though I was still on drips, blood transfusions in hospital). Absolute nightmare to deal with.

Virgin Holidays - had to cancel a holiday that had been booked for earlier this year as was by then on chemotherapy. They instantly offered to amend the booking, cancel it or do whatever we wanted. We couldnt decide as I had just started chemo so they cancelled the booking. When I subsequently rang in July to book for September they couldnt do enough for me. Lounge access foc, special assistance organised, extra luggage allowance foc for medical equipment I need, deposit from original holiday lost was transferred over onto the new booking. Medical seats allocated for us. Both hotels notified not only of my medical needs, but also the fact its my birthday whilst we are there. So far I've also amended our first week from Rosen @ Pointe to Rosen Plaza, Ive changed my room type at HRH. All with minimal fuss and lots of help and advice from VH

M&S Travel Insurance - amazing! Paid out for both the holidays that Tui disputed that we tried to cancel (despite both my husband and surgeon having tried to speak and email with them).

Its only when you are ill that you actually find out how good these companies are.
