Which hotel would you choose..

We are planning on adding an extra night into our holiday. Unfortunately CBR is not available so we will have to stay elsewhere for one night (arrival night)
The cheapest options are;
POR (only garden view available)
And
All stars music - family suite
These are both exactly the same price for the date we need

We are a family of five. We have stayed at POR and loved it although the space in the family suite is very appealing.

We will literally be crashing there for the first night, having a stroll & wonder round the resort and that’s it. The following day we will be in MK then move to CBR

So if you only had one night and you would not be making the most of the resort, very tired so just chilling out which would you choose?
Moderate, pretty resort or all stars (never been so no idea what it’s like) with a large family suite?
Kids will be 17, 14 & 7

I’d go for All Stars. You’ll have enough room for the night and it’s a new resort to potentially explore (if you’re not too tired).

If I had a car I’d stay offsite in a cheap condo for the night. No car and I’d go for the cheapest option as you won’t be in the room except to sleep. You’ll be awake and out early. Defo the cheapest option.

No car so we need the magical express & Disney to move our luggage the day after.
Also, both choices are exactly the same price do no cheapest option.

I am thinking of all stars, more room and we have never been before.
When we arrive it will literally be a wonder round the resort and the gift shop

I would stop at the all stars, not as big as Riverside so you can just hang around the centre, also it is right next door to Movies and Sports so you could look round them as well.We have stopped at all 3 resorts and I must say I always think they are most Disney like than the moderate resorts.

I'd go for POR, as they have rooms the same size as CBR. Otherwise you'll be going from 1 night with lots of space to a single room which may feel smaller as a result, even though you've stayed in them before. Plus, the value resorts just don't do much for me personally.

Have you looked on other booking sites for 1 night at CBR? One year we had 13 nights booked at POR for free dining, and booked the first night separately through Expedia as it was the cheapest option. The week before we were due to check in, I called Disney reservations to ask if they could link the 2 bookings so that we wouldn't need to change rooms and they did. All worked perfectly

What about a night at an Airport hotel and get the Magical Express the next morning?
