I can understand their feelings too, but at one point they were asking for public donations for the restoration the Cathedral badly needed. Warner Bros monetary offer would have gone a long way to help. It is expensive to visit the Cathedral. I have a residents card but not tried to use it.

My son said he has already visited and said it was like being back in Universal Studios. He said the only thing that ruined it, in his own words, was the "crappy pop music they were playing instead of the soundtrack". He said they also sell Dr Who and Game of Thrones merchandise etc as well.

I work in Canterbury so definitely paying a visit, although the Disney pop up shop was a bit of a disaster and has now closed so very disappointed😡I'm going to Warner bro studios I a couple of weeks too! Maybe I'll get an outfit lol

The pop up Disney store lasted longer than it was supposed to but I was very disappointed that it closed. There were rumours of it reopening in another premises in the town but haven't heard anything recently🙄.
