How many posts per page?
There have been a number of threads recently which have been in my thoughts.
Every so often the title changes to say update page 26 or 10 or 40. Yet I don't have 40 pages. I must have changed my settings sometime in the past as I don't like clicking next as much as scrolling down. How many posts do you have per page in a thread? |

I always thought it depended on the length of the posts, but looking at a few threads now, including one with a very long post (lots of pics), I appear to have 8 posts per page.

The default is 8 per page which most people will be using. So if you have changed it in your USER CP to 30 then if someone updates the title to "Update on page 26" then it wont be page 26 if you have changed it from the default 8.

Thank Simon. Thought it would be something simple like that. Useful to know the standard is 8.
So 8x40=320/30= page 10 for me. Good job this phone also has a calculator 😉 |

It is always better if members could put "Update POST 56" rather than a page number. That way we can all find it

Mine is much higher than the standard as well. I never have 26 pages when it says that.

I switch to tablet style and then it’s in the corner.
It’s easy to quickly switch using the top menu. |
