Very easy for me, cheap and cheery v decent wholesome cooked food - Perkins every time.

We like both, along with iHop but Denny's has a special place in our hearts as on our first trip many many years ago it was the only place you could walk to from our hotel so we spent a lot of time in there eating all the cheese cakes (goes off into a day dream of when you could buy a whole cheesecake in there for under $10 to take back to your room)

We love both but choose Dennys for the first day breakfast purely because we're usually all starving after travel day and we can eat til we burst cheaply! Well the family all can; it's become a tradition that whatever family holiday we go on, Grandad buys first breakfast so poor DH usually ends up forking out for at least 8 of us!

Me too. However, I would always choose Denny's for breakfast because of nostalgic reasons.
Thinking about it, I'm not sure I've ever had breakfast at a Perkins. I think we may have only eaten dinner there?

Cracker Barrell gets the vote here for brekkie! Yes Perkins and Dennys are good but Cracker Barrell just have a good Country twist to things, the one down Highway 27 is great
And they have a shop which usually means we end up buying all sorts of 'stuff' that weren't planned! All meals generally are great too. Worth a visit! Edited at 02:59 PM. |

Never eaten breakfast in Perkins, but it sounds quite appealing?
That said, eat breakfast in villa most days, only normally eat out 1/2 way to Busch in somewhere like Lakeland and it usually ends up being Denny’s or Bob Evans as they are just off the I4. Maybe this year we’ll try something different?
