So were hoping to eat near the airport

You could always eat at Celebration, its right next to exit 2 on the 417. Then its straight on the 417 for about an hour to Sanford.

Otherwise if there is a restaurant you like just google for the nearest one to Sanford - you may just have trouble that early in the day

There's not really anywhere to eat at the airport. If you go along I4, exit 400, there every restaurant you can think of on Lake Mary Blvd. toojays is really good.

we used to always have our last meal at bob evans on lake mary boulevard

plenty of others on that road iirc
