Easy video making software for Windows 10

Can anyone recommend anything i can download for free or for a reasonable cost?

In the past i have used movie maker but now im on Windows 10 I cant get that anymore and the photos app that comes pre installed isnt working for me.

I just need to pop some videos together, trim them Nd add music. Nothing too special.

I've not tried it myself, but I assume its the W10 replacement.

I've always used Windows Movie Maker, it used to be part of the fee Windows Live Essentials package, but Microsoft discontinued it a while back so it's hard to find now.

You need to make sure you download the offline installer, not the web installer as there is nowhere for the web installer to download the files it needs from now. I've uploaded a copy of the offline installer to my Dropbox if anyone wants to use it:
