Disney ticket - help the confused and bewildered please
We have a one day Disney ticket (bought from the US site) which we didn’t use in May this year. Luckily we are going back for a week in November stopping on site so we can use this ticket as it’s valid until the end of the year and it’s linked to MDE with the accommodation booking.
We need another two day ticket. I’ve emailed Disney and they said no problem we can upgrade the one day to a three day ticket at any of the theme parks. This would be good as it gives me longer to get the money together (this is a cheapy, cheapy unplanned, spur of the moment madness trip). But if I wait till we get there does it mean that I won’t be able to book fast passes for the three days at 60 days as I will still only have a one day ticket linked? Or does the onsite room booking for 7 days mean I can book fast passes for the whole 7 days? Or will I have to buy them here first and link to MDE with the one day? We’ve been going for over 18 years and I really should know the answer to this but for some reason I can’t get it clear in my head! Can anyone advise? |

It's length of stay or length of ticket whichever is shorter, so afraid you'll only be able to do one day unless you upgrade the ticket prior to your 60day window

Yes. You will only be able to book fastpasses for the number of days on your ticket. A 1-Day ticket will allow you to book fastpasses on just 1 day. You will be able to book any single day during your 7 days onsite at 60 days before check-in.
I'm surprised you can't update the tickets over the phone to add the extra 2 days. However, I've never tried it myself so hopefully someone else can advise.
