Disney pizza delivery

Hi Dibbers,

Was wondering about the resort Pizza delivery service. We would like to get some pizza on our first night when we arrive after check in...Lots of questions...

1. We are staying a SS, do they deliver to there?
2. We on DDP, presuming we can use it for this, how many counter service credits would it cost me if we got say 2 large pizzas?
3. Was the unwritten rule on tipping a pizza delivery?

Has anyone done it, is it ok?

Cheers Dave

The above PDF details on-site pizza delivery. It is not available at Saratoga Springs.

pizza delivery use TS credits, yes TS

one large pizza delivered to your room, will set you back 2 TS credits

So 2 large pizzas would be 4 TS credits ... quite expensive ...

They are 2 CS credits each (+ 2 non alcoholic beverages) if you go pick them up at a pizza counter (at POR for example)

You'd be much better off getting someone like Flippers to deliver one.

It's a waste of TS credits for a very average pizza.

For a normal pizza delivery service you're expected to tip a minimum of $3 or 15% (whichever is highest).

Flippers make real good pizzas.
There is one at Crossroads (at the top of hotel plaza boulevard) if you fancy the drive over there, and they also deliver.

flipperspizzeria/order-online/
the closest to SSR is the Lake Buena Vista/Disney location on SR535 (that's the crossroads one)

If you can face a short walk (or even shorter bus journey) Blaze pizza in DS is fab and you can use QS credits.

But the QS at SS itself has pizza - Disney seem to like calling them "flatbreads" instead of pizza in the deluxe resorts. But quite a few to choose from.

We're in POFQ now - leaving tomorrow :-(

There's a hefty delivery/service charge for room service - it's only a few minutes walk to go and order/collect, takes 5 minutes or so from order
