Sarasota boat hire

We are doing 1 day MK and 2 day Uni pass, giving us the rest of the holiday to try some new places. We love Silver Springs and Mount Dora so will probably visit those places but I'm really excited because for the first time we are going to drive to Sarasota and hire a boat for the afternoon - has anybody on here done that? And if so, did you see dolphins etc?

We used to holiday in Marco Island, Charlotte etc in a villa by the water and hire a boat for two weeks. We used to see dolphins quite frequently! Always sad though as they often had gashes from boat props 😞 Not sure about Sarasota though!
