Holiday Clothes - Sales/Best Time to Buy

We are off to Turkey in September and I wanted to buy some new bikinis/dresses etc and some stuff for our Florida trip next May.

Am I best to wait a few weeks, I've had a look at some of the sales at the moment but there isn't much there TBH!

Next sale is this week. I normally buy some bits and pieces from there. New Look also has a sale at the moment and in previous years I have got decent bargains there - not looked this year.

I wouldn’t wait as once the sales start, the new stock that comes in will be Autumn styles. I always shop early but last time we went in September,my stepdaughter left it till August and ended up with mix matched bikinis in New Look and not a great selection of other holiday bits.

Tesco has women's swimwear reduced - sale started this morning. Think it's children's tomorrow followed by men's the next day.

Joining in here, noticed lots of summer stock reduced currently so think we need to get a move on buying for October! Annoying as currently renovating so really have no space for extra clothes but don't want to be left with no choice in autumn! Primark had barely any sandles but winter boots out

Our Primark had winter coats and thick cardis on display today. Their holiday shop is reduced to half price. It was 23 degrees this afternoon! I wish we could stop the fashion nonsense of assuming people want to be the first to buy next season and just let us buy what we need when we need it! The problem with booking holidays in September is that if you suddenly realise you need something, Amazon is your only hope!

I'd buy now.

I don't think there's as much in the sales this year as the weather has been good

If you haven't bought by now, you'll be struggling, even the online summer sales are now down to their dregs.
