I went to the Adnams brewery shop in Southwold and they do 3 types of gin. There was a tasting too. I got a bottle of Copper House which is very nice. It’s won a few awards.
I liked the idea of buying it at the source but it’s a few pounds cheaper in supermarkets. Adnams also do their own tonic as well as other spirits.

Opihr - opihr/ - is probably my favourite of the many I've got. It has a taste that I find to be genuinely different to others.

Bulldog and Tanq 10 are my current favourites and I love the M&S Lavender one but in small doses

Opihr is lovely (and low calorie). Also a fan of Whitley Neil rhubarb. My all time favourite gin though is Hendricks with a couple of slices of cucumber.
Also to add: I like Sir Robyn of Locksley with elderflower tonic. Edited at 10:43 AM. |

For me it has to be Harris Gin, hand harvested sugar kelp is one of the botanicals used to give it its distinctive taste. We were lucky enough to be able to visit the distillery last year and joined a fantastic tour on the making of the gin.

Try Lakes Gin - really nice with plenty of ice and a slice of lime.
Also if you like a summery taste, Gordons pink gin is very enjoyable. It's definitely only for summer evenings in the garden but we're getting plenty of those at the moment!
