My 12 year old likes:
Modern Family - seem them all I think. Friends - we've been going through this recently, nearly finished Season 4 and going to Friendsfest in September, he won't have seen it all by then though. Dirk Gently on Netflix. Rated 15 but acceptable. Friday Night Dinner

Another vote for the Goldbergs. A blast from the past is Malcom in the Middle, my two (11 & 9) love it and I have confess my husband and I enjoyed rewatching these (only not over and over and over again as the kids seem to do!).
