Upgrading to annual ticket

Has anyone upgraded their UK tickets to an annual one when at the park? (Universal) if so what sort of price did you pay? We’ve the 3 park ticket at the moment but if it’s worth it I’d like to upgrade when there ready for next year!

Me 2 weeks ago.

The 3 park ticket is valued at $310 so you need to decuct this from the price of the pass you want plus tax.

We upgraded to 2 park tickets
Power was $34 plus tax
Preferred was $74 plus tax
If you wanted 3 park tickets the Volcano Bay add on was an additional $99 plus tax per ticket.

Be aware thart if you use volcano bay they will only let you upgrade to a 3 park ticket now.

We needed 2 preferred passes because of April blackout dates but the 10% off food and merchandise really mounts up if you are there for any length of time. We don't drive over there so I can't comment on parking costs.

Hope this helps.

Brilliant. Thanks for that. Does the year start from when you first use your ticket or from when you go and ask for the upgrade?

We did this last week. 3 adult tickets and 1 child. We went for the cheapest ones which have blackout dates through July and December so had to do it on our way out the park on our last day. Guest Services were really helpful.

This year there were blackout dates the week before and week after Easter. Universal have not published the black out dates for April yet but the team member I spoke to thought next year would be the same. Easter is the 21st and we will be at Universal from the 11th to 18th April.

I missed the Easter blackout dates at first but the Orlando informer website has really good info about the universal annual passes and that’s how I knew before I asked about upgrading.
