Definitely a good news story for a Saturday morning. Mr Biden will be pleased and hopefully he will be in a good mood when he talks to Boris about opening up to the UK

Very positive. I honestly thought that Cali would be one of the last places in the US we’d be able to visit but they’ve done fantastic. Let’s hope it continues and borders open.

I live in California and I was also sure we would be the last state to reopen since we were one of the hardest hit states at one time. But we have done a great job turning things around and we have had a great vaccination rate. The mood here is definitely lifted, and I’m seeing more signs of normalcy again.

There haven’t been any official announcements about that yet. Disneyland’s website still says only California residents until further notice. June 15th is still the date that the state will reopen and allow businesses to go full capacity, plus remove all the color tiers and restrictions- so the thought among people here is that Disneyland will probably allow out-of-state visitors after that. Now, here is another question to ponder...will Disneyland allow everyone to visit without conditions or will out-of-state visitors be allowed in only if they show proof of vaccination? Currently, the state is allowing out-of-state visitors to get into theme parks if they are fully vaccinated. Sea World in San Diego is allowing it, so is Universal in Hollywood, but Disneyland isn’t choosing to do that right now. Maybe they are waiting until restrictions are lifted on June 15? 🤔 Hopefully they will officially announce their plans by the time June comes around.
