Book car rental with BA or separately? 3rd party liability?

Hi there,

We normally book our car with Andy on Discount Florida Car Hire, but with all the airline uncertainty I wasn't sure if there's more benefit to booking the car with BA as part of a package instead?

Also, the '3rd party liability insurance' confuses me. It seems on Virgin Holidays it's not included for your rental car, only for the other person's car. Otherwise, it's �500+ more for that kind of insurance. BA I can't even see what the insurance situation is.

I'm pretty sure Discount Florida Car Hire has that as standard.

I'm so confused as we usually only go to Orlando but this is a California trip and I'm out of my comfort zone, so I wondered what other people do.

Any tips on this?

BA includes full insurance as does Andy , it�s only Virgin that doesn�t.

California works the same way as Florida (we have one Florida and two west coast car hires currently booked with Andy)

Always book BA flight and car, has insurance included and free driver if take the Avis car hire. 😊
