Crossroads development

Morning all,

I have just booked the Rosen Inn LBV for November this year 🤞

Does anyone know if demolition has started on the crossroads yet?

Was looking at maps trying to work out the next best way to get to the Disney parks and springs. As I assume access to the I4 and hotel plaza bouvelard will be chaos.

Thanks

From what I understand the construction hasn't started yet, it's been pushed back multiple times but is set to start imminently (but it's been set to start imminently for a while).

I'm looking to book the same hotel for October but this is the thing thats stopping me biting the bullet. Its. A perfect location u til they rip up that junction.

Other than doing a big detour past Hyatt Grand cypress then down E buena vista past S Springs to get to Dis springs or down Vacation club way past OKW for the parks, any other way will be just as bad.
We used to use that back way all the time when we stayed at OKW and it was always quiet, that was nearly 10 years ago though!
I’d planned on staying at the Wyndham or Hilton in early 2023 but not so sure now, I can only guess that the off ramp will move and come directly onto hotel plaza just before Doubletree, there doesnt seem to be anywhere else to put it. If it comes out onto the actual crossroads it will be a nightmare whilst the work goes on.
I assume it’s to take pressure off the currently only off ramp into Dis Springs.

Via OKW is definitely the way to go , we have stayed there or at grand cypress and is very easy and little traffic
