Only deposit paid at the moment. However , I have been told specifically not to cancel it! Treatment now planned in and a final decision will be taken later in the year. Keep those fingers crossed!

We have ditched the train trips and it’s purely a road trip (mostly);
2 nights in Vancouver
2 nights in Victoria
2 nights in Whistler
1 night Kamloops
2 nights in jasper
1 night lake Louise
1 night in Revelstoke
1 night in kamloops
2 nights in Vancouver
I have to work our distances but that’s the basic trip.
Anyone done a similar trip?
I think you have a great plan, we have done road trips and the Rocky Mountaineer.

We really enjoyed Moraine Lake, close to Lake Louise but much less crowded and really beautiful with nice hikes and Lake kayaking.

Lola's Reviews
Hotel Reviews: 1
Went went with Cosmos Tours in May 2019 and had 3 days Toronto, VIA rail over 3 days to Jasper ( not Rocky Mountaineer but cabins on the train and a great experience) then tour round Banff etc with the Columbia ice field, Vancouver Island and Vancouver for a few days followed by a 7 day Alaska cruise. A brilliant trip at a reasonable price and even got money off with Tesco Vouchers. If looking for more luxury Scenic tours do similar and they are great but cost significantly more.

I've been doing research in conjunction with my son who has a short trip planned in September. Been looking at Western Canada and this site has a really good downloadable guide.

Canada Trip 2020 then 2021 hopefully 2022

First trip to Canada booked summer 2019 while in Yellowstone (Pre Pandemic), obviously cancelled. Re booked for this year while on staycation in Cornwall last summer - Never in our wildest dreams did we expect it to be cancelled for a second time. Anyway in the process of re booking for summer 2022. Here was our itinerary for this year which I will endeavour recreate for next year: -

Flight to Vancouver: Overnight stay at airport

Drive to Golden - overnight stay

Spend 4 nights in Waterton National Park - Prince of Wales Hotel

Spend 4 nights in Canmore: Spring Creek Village

Spend 3 nights in Jasper: Bear Hill Lodge

Spend 5 nights in Whistler: Summit Lodge Boutique and Hotel

Back to Vancouver final 4 nights at the Sheraton

Here is hoping

I hope it works out this time.

Thanks for posting your itinerary. It sounds good. I was looking at Golden earlier.
