Thanks for bumping! We are looking at Canada as a plan B for this September/Oct if we can’t get to the US and if Canada opens to international tourists of course! Thinking of Vancouver/Vancouver Island and Whistler for 10 nights

Watching the news with interest, we/I have already been to Canada 7 times before, I absolutely love it there..wondering aloud if DH would bend for a Canadian option?

Only if I could promise I wouldn't drag him across Parliament square in Ottawa again in -27 and knee deep snow

Cancelled our Canada/NW USA trip for second year running! Were going 23 August - just too soon even for Plan B of just Canada with it opening on 7 September. Next year ...

I have only ever been to Canada once and that was in the 1970s - I flew by Laker airways which dates it!

We stuck to the ast coast if I remember correctly and the mate I went with had friends in London (Ontario) who had an RV and a boat. We took the boat on the 1000 islands which - even some 40+ years later - I remember as being beautiful.

We also did Toronto and some of the other major ciities.

Loved it.
