Beach club villas accessible studio rooms
Just wondering if anyone has any pictures/videos of the accessible studios/bathrooms/balconies etc in the beach club villas.
We are hoping to stay there next summer and wanted to find out what the rooms were like, but coming up short in finding videos or photos of the accessible rooms. We will be a family of 5 with a scooter (husband can walk shorter distances so could do a normal room if necessary, but needs to be near services and have space to fit his scooter, so would prefer an accessible room I think). Hope someone might be able to help. Thanks 🙂 |

Can’t help with the room, but I’ve noticed at Wilderness Lodge that some people park their scooters in the corridor and plug in to charge them overnight, keeping the key with them of course. That would give you more space inside the room if there are 5 of you.

Have you looked at you tube?
There are loads of room videos on there. |

We had an accessible two bedroom at BCV in 2009. The studio part was accessible and pretty good. I wouldn’t think there would be enough room for an ECV inside the studio though. Plenty ECVs parked outside charging in the corridors though.

Thanks. I just wasn't sure if the layout inside was massively different from the standard rooms.
I realise that the bathrooms will be, and wondered what they were like. None of the videos on YouTube show accessible rooms just standard ones. It's useful to know we can leave the scooter outside the room to charge if needed. 👍 |

Here is a 1 bed, pre refurb.
I’ve never stayed in an accessible one, but I have stayed in a standard one bed, and the only difference I can see on this is the bathroom. So I suspect that may be the only difference with the studio also.
