Kelly Park In January

Does anyone know if Kelly Park is open in January and if it's swimmable please?

I'd love to know this too. Also going in January and I'm trying to choose between all the lovely looking springs. Considering hiring a paddle board.

It is swimmable. It’s a brilliant place I think. We went in the summer many years ago. There is a great natural tubing river, and you can hire tubes from places just down the road. We got ours from a place called ‘Ron’s’. There is also a decent sized swimming area, which is next to the river. There were plenty of lifeguards at the river and swim bit, which was a good job as they do get alligators. When they see a gator, they immediately evacuate everyone from the water. I’d say it’s pretty safe.

Yeah we go there every year but in August normally. Was trying to find out if it's open in January and if weather is ok when we're there this coming January due to our last 2 hols being cancelled.

I need my Kelly Park fix

If you can wait until January we can pop up there and check! We recently moved, and have discovered we're just 7 miles away from Kelly Park now, and just 8 miles from another of our favourite natural places to visit, Wekiva Island.
