Hi
Unfortunately there are no ferries to Barbados - and trying to get there by cruise ship is probably a non starter as you normally can't just exit the ship when you get somewhere - you are normally have to complete a round trip. Plus it would probably take a week to get there by cruise ship. You would need to do a one way trip to Orlando and then take internal flights to Barbados from a main US air hub such as Miami, Atlanta or New York. Probably taking a series of one way flights, You could try doing a trial route/dates on Expedia. I've never included Orlando, but have often island hopped off Barbados - with both Virgin and the old days of Thomas Cook UK - Barbados - Tobago - UK UK - Barbados - St Vincent- Barbados -UK UK - Jamaica- Grand Cayman -Atlanta -UK UK - Miami - Grand Cayman- Miami - UK UK _ NYC - Bermuda- NYC - UK If you are looking for a beach destination to contrast with the theme parks, have you thought about Anna Marie Island on the West Coast of Florida - less than 2 hours easy drive from Orlando . Plenty of Dibbers have included it as a 2 centre holiday. Its a lovely place to spend a week after the full on park days. Edited at 10:54 AM. |
