DVC split stay and DDP
Another question... so if I were to book a 3 night stay in a 2 bed villa, then a 6 night stay in a studio (I know it will be hard to move), would this still count as a split stay and therefore eligible to pay for the dining plan for the first 3 nights? The stays would be back to back possibly at the same resort.

You would just pay for DDP with each booking.
So I think you could get it just the first 3 nights (I never get it but I can't see why not). Or you could book for both. No need to add it until a week before as if you decided not to go with the split and merge the bookings, you would probably then have to get DDP for the whole period.
