Mobile Tolls from I-Drive to Kennedy Space Centre

Does anyone know how many tolls we’ll go through to get to Kennedy? Looking at using the 528 from I-Drive .

Thanks

We did this yesterday - 417 and 528 on the way out and then 528 only on the way back. I don't remember exactly but I think 5 toll stops on the way and 4 on the way back. Each less than 2 dollars, so 20 dollars at the most (most were 1.50 or so).

There is a manned booth for cash and also a coin drop if you have the change, the booths can be slow though.

HTH

Cheers,
Peter

Was there in May. Cost about $4.75 each way.

When we went last year we did not use the toll road but went on the 50 which takes you past Christmas. Road was not too busy and we also saw an owl on a fence post so did a double take as this was in the afternoon.

We used that same road and found a great air boat ride near Christmas! It seemed to take an eternity to get back to Orlando though.

As I discovered it’s 4 tolls on the 528. First is $2.50, the $1 and finally $1.50. $10 in total for journey. Kennedy was definitely worth the tolls.

haven't been to Fl before so it sounds like u have to stop & pay at multiple points rather than the European way where u just tend to pay once for the whole route at the turning you come off at?

Yep 3 stops on the route. Stay right for cash tolls (what we did). You can go through the sun pass lanes and it’ll be charged to your credit card a few weeks later. I didn’t want to do that so was happy to pay. It wasn’t any more hassle.

When we went in 2015 I decided to drive up the 50 instead of the 528 to save on the tolls. It took a fair bit longer, so I decided to come back down the 528 and pay the tolls instead!
