Universal Studios
Doing Universal in a couple of weeks time, staying on site.
We will do early admission into the Studios while we are there but does anyone know what time the first train runs going across to Islands of Adventure so we can get to Hagrids ride ASAP ? No express passes and DH will only queue once for this ride! Thanks |

The train will start at regular opening time. But if you want to get into the Hagrid queue you are better off going straight to IoA and waiting there for opening. You will be a long way back in the queue if you go to US first and get the train over. This is not from experience, but because I have read a lot of threads on how it works.

I would recommend going straight to IOA. We got there for around 8:15 when the park opened at 09:00 and there was already a big queue. Once the gates opened people were literally running to Hagrids! I was off the ride by around 09:30 so wasn't too bad. It is amazing though
