I always have a paper diary, and every year a new hard backed notepad (paperblanks) for my weekly meal plan... I’ve been keeping a record for a good few years now... very useful to write my shopping list and for meal ideas... and another little notebook for my shopping lists... and yet another for to-do lists and general notes... and another for any holiday plans...
You’d never know I like a plan and a list would you...

Oh yes, I remember the starched aprons, collars, caps, and buckles... did look smart though...
Started training in 73 so 46 years in nursing and midwifery now... lists were essential...

I love a good diary, just picked up a lovely one in Florida ...I have a slim wall calendar that I have birthdays and anniversaries on, so a quick glance and I know who’s coming up. 🙂

I always get my diary from our local card shop early November so I can transfer birthdays and important dates. Birthdays and anniversaries are written in red. On Valentine's day I always draw a red heart around the date. On Christmas day I draw holly with 3 berries.
Work stuff is written in green, normal stuff in blue and dates I have off work are highlighted in pink ( just so I can flick through and admire being able to plan days out and holidays) Love my diary. |
