Hmm what ticket?

We are away for 2 weeks this holiday we are doing universal and SeaWorld and Busch gardens also the water parks. We have put a deposit down on the 6park combo ticket. Which is £370. We have hired a car again this year which I need to factor in parking charges. SeaWorld and the other sister parks I no parking is free just universal. So I’ve been toying with getting a annual pass. I think I would need a preferred pass for free parking is this right? The cost of this is $536. Has anyone up graded there pass to a power pass once there? And if so how much more is it? I’ve just been trying to see the cost difference and I think it’s about £186 pounds. For a 3 park ticket for two weeks to an power annual pass. Any information would be great thank you.

I think you mean Preferred, which gives you free parking (after first visit) and comes out at $536 with tax for the 3-park option. I think that's the 2019 prices, so presumably it will go up next year. So ~£414 v.s a 2020 3-park explorer at £272 (orlandoattractiontickets). £142 seems like a lot for "free parking"

As mentioned above, the cost to upgrade to a Preferred Annual pass to get free parking will be about $180 - this is roughly equivalent to 7 days of parking.

So if you plan to park at Universal on 7 days or more then getting the Preferred annual pass would be a good idea. If you are planning on visiting Universal on less than 7 days then getting a Preferred annual pass would probably not be worthwhile based solely on the "free" parking perk (you do also get other perks with the preferred pass, such as 10% off in the restaurants).

We are doing the same for our next trip although have booked a 3 night hotel package with seaworld (got free one day dining at seaworld, one day dining at Busche gardens & breakfast included at the hotel) with a few perks then 8 nights at a universal partner hotel (breakfast and light evening meals included) so get free bus and early entry and our final night at Disney so we can drop off the hire car a day early, resort hop & DVC tour then use DME back to MCO.

As mentioned above, you get 10% off merchandise with the Preferred pass. See the following page for the various benefits of each type of Universal annual pass:
