So my last post I was worried about us receiving an email asking for more evidence, which we’d lost. I called the number to speak with someone who told me we weren’t the only ones this had happened to, and to just send what we had.
Yesterday my OH checked his account and had a nice surprise-the money has been put in. Thing is we hadn’t sent the email yet as OH has found out that his phone settings delete messages after a set time, so even though we thought they were ‘lost’ if he goes on a PC and checks his emails the documents are there. We were going to spend Saturday collating this. But now as they’ve paid out, it seems a moot point.😀 |

Advised last Friday that payment would be in the bank account within 48 hours. No payment received up to 8.00am this morning. Numerous efforts made to contact them by phone and email. Still no reply. Patience is starting to wear thin.

Mine was done on 7th and still awaiting reviewing it states that I still have 12 days left to wait to 60 day mark .Having worked it out its 60 working days not 60 days … Its such a random way that they are refunding with no information . I am fortunate it was only deposit and we could book another but the no information that gets peoples backs up ...even if it was just an update on their web page

Mine was submitted on the 7th. Received a request for further information on the 2nd December which I sent the same day. Just received another request for the same information again. My patience is wearing thin too, absolutely no consistency in how the claims are processed.
My friend received a request for further information too. As I had paid for her deposit she required my bank statement. I was in the process of gathering this information when she had received notification that her claim had been settled and claimed without her sending in the info.

Checked on the website & it said claim paid and closed. The claim was £200 on my credit card for the deposit, checked my credit card and no payment received, checked my bank account and it had gone on there instead.

Got my full refund 😊 Didn’t need to submit any extra evidence, just git an email to say expect it in 24 hours and when I checked, it was in my bank

Still waiting on ours, made a phone call last week & was told it was being reviewed 🤷🏼.
She did say to keep checking my bank but I seriously think she was saying same thing to everyone !

We booked direct through the Thomas cook shop, have received a refund today out of the below which is £500 less than we paid Thomas cook. I remember the invoice stating the Thomas cook fee was £500. Do we not get that back! ?
