I'm guessimg you don't have insurance or the reason for not going is not covered. Don't beat yourself up over it. It's a mistake yes, but worse things happen in life.
If the 365 days is the issue, could you travel earlier? Before June 20? Might be better than loosing the lot. |

I think the 365 rule is standard practice. My parents tried to change theirs with Cathay Pacific after a death in the family, they were told they'd have to travel before Feb 2020 as the flights were booked Feb 2019.
