Christmas cards, buying & receiving them, complete waste of money, time & paper in my opinion, I don’t put cards up they just look messy
Putting my tree together, slotting each branch in & “fluffing” all the branches, love decorating it though
Putting the lights on the tree

The cooking and spending too much time with family, I don’t mind a bit of time, but everyone starts getting on my nerves after a while. Everyday is like a Sunday, I prefer summer to Winter! 🥶

I love Christmas! I love all the traditions and the warm cozy lights.
I hate the bragging!
I hate how some people who can't afford to spend so much are made to feel like crap parents.
My sister is a single parent and does without a lot to give her kids.
She sees the pictures on FB with sofas covered in piles of presents, and feels bad.
Fair enough if you can afford to give loads of presents, but do you really have to post pictures of every present you buy your children.

Giving gifts to and pretending that you like people that in reality you have no time for in order to satisfy work, family or social protocol.

If I had no time for a person before Christmas, then it is for sure that I will have no time during or after.

I absolutely love Christmas, by the way.. (other than I work to a rigid 24 hr shift pattern). I am on a rest day on the 24th and 25th this year.. (yippee).

Untangling lights. Undecorating and repacking decorations. Going near any shops around Christmas time. Supermarkets that have to blast songs at top volume when they don't play music any other time of year.
