When we get back into Gatwick from Orlando our connection time to Dublin is 1 Hour 35 Minutes. If for any reason the first flight was delayed and we missed this would BA sort it out or would we have to contact Last Minute ?

One downside of being on BA rather than say Virgin is that you have to pay for specific seats ( even in Club World) without status. Is it likely BA would automatically seat us together from one booking ? Some of the seats are £100 plus each !

On a flight is peak season is even Business Class likely to be full ?

This would be with the airlines concerned (BA if both flights are with BA, Aer Lingus if the LGW-DUB flight is with them).

If you are on a connecting flight from LGW to DUB do you have to "leave" and go back in or is it a straight transfer ?

IE Do you have to go through immigration and customs at Gatwick ?

You have to clear immigration at LGW, and will have to go back through security before the LGW-DUB flight. Any checked bags will be checked through to DUB, you will not see them at LGW.

So is that an internal security section or the normal one you would access from the outside ?

Reason I am asking is I may hopefully get the chance to pop out for a quick burn. However I believe there is one Lounge airside at Gatwicks South Terminal that has a smoking terrace.
