AA main cabin plus, extra legroom questions.

I am looking at a flydrive with BA using AA planes on the LHR-MIA route. We would like extra legroom seats but the cost of P/E for 9 of us is too much, so am thinking main cabin plus instead. Has anyone done this before? I have just done Virgin delight and I am assuming it is a similar sort of thing? Also, does anyone have any idea how much it costs as you have to book the flight first before you can select seats with AA. thanks.

We have flown main cabin extra a few times now with AA. I personally think it's worth the extra money as myself and hubby are quite tall so an extra 3-4 inches of leg room make all the difference, other than the legroom you dont get anything above a normally economy seat in terms of service but you are in boarding group 5 so get to board early If that's important to you.

I think the price is dependent upon the length of the flight 2 years ago we flew LHR-MIA and the seats were $130 each, each way

I'd you do a dummy booking on the AA website you can see how much the seats cost.
